KLEIN NEW COMPANY STRUCTURE

After 15 years of successfully running Klein, co-founder James Klein has stepped down from his role as Managing Director and has announced changes to the company structure.

James has sold an ownership stake to two long-term staff members, Steven Hill and Rachael Rush. Steven becomes Managing Director, while Rachael will continue her established role as Director - Health.

James will maintain his involvement with the company as Chairman of the Board.

Co-founder Johanna Klein, has stepped down as a director but remains working in the company as a master planner and urban designer.

Klein has grown in size from a staff of 14 in 2003 to the current team of 28 and James wanted to ensure that the growth was managed in a controlled way.

“I felt it was a good time to broaden and strengthen the leadership roles here. Rachael and Steven have been with the company for a number of years now and I feel very comfortable in the knowledge that they can continue the Klein culture of consistently delivering effective and efficient architectural services to the building industry” says James Klein.

Klein’s focus as architects of specialised environments has seen it develop significant work streams in the transportation, healthcare and retirement sectors. Klein’s forward workload in both the private and public sectors remains very strong. Growth is expected within these sectors and other areas of specialisation that Klein is developing.
