Daniel Weston

Klein — General Manager

Daniel’s business and managerial nous keeps Klein’s many moving parts in sync and flowing smoothly. His focus on business improvement and operational efficiency has been a key enabler to the company’s continued growth.

Joining us in 2016 and taking up the role of General Manager in April 2019, Daniel’s broad strategic and financial experience has been a welcome addition to the Klein mix. His prior roles have spanned multiple industries including media, telecommunications and FMCG – both here in New Zealand and overseas.

Day to day, Daniel keeps himself busy ensuring Klein’s systems and processes are fit for purpose and in line with international best practice. However, with a typically hands-on approach, he’s just as likely to get directly involved with any of our ongoing projects – often providing front end support for commercial analysis, masterplanning and business case development.

In his relatively few years with Klein, Daniel has already overseen a number of operational milestones. In 2017, he orchestrated the company’s move to the larger, fit-for-purpose premises we currently enjoy. And more recently, he instigated a ground-up overhaul of Klein’s IT infrastructure – no mean feat for an architectural business with diverse and complex IT demands.
