Edward Duncan

Ed joined Klein directly from university in 2018. As an Associate, he assists with the running of large, complex projects alongside the project architect, and leads small-scale projects with minimal supervision.

His day-to-day responsibilities include architectural design, health planning, drafting and modelling, client liaison, coordinating with other consultants, commercial decision-making, fee proposals, managing project teams, internal resourcing and internal project task planning.

Bringing focus and insight to every design brief, Ed works closely with clients, stakeholders and consultants to define project opportunities and constraints. He develops and communicates clear design intent, leading to elegant and efficient solutions for a variety of healthcare environments.

He works on masterplanning and building design for both public and private healthcare clients. Driven to create equitable outcomes for the vulnerable and marginalised, he also maintains a particular interest in mental healthcare.

Fluent across a range of software (including Revit, Revizto and Adobe CS) and in written and graphic communication, Ed blends his skills to manage teams and tasks calmly and successfully towards project deadlines and deliverables.
