Jordan Pearce
Jordan is a Project Architect at Klein joining the team in 2022. He brings large-scale project experience from the public and private sector, including the 10,000sqm Wakatipu High School in Queenstown and 4,000sqm expansion project, and the 2,800sqm Steelfort showroom and distribution centre in Penrose. As a result, Jordan has experience in the Ministry of Education's public-private-partnership model, using a design-build consortium to fund, design, construct and manage new school builds.
He finds the procurement model encourages innovation and collaboration across the wider team, a skillset he applies to all his projects.
Jordon has lead several projects while at Klein including the Bay of Plenty DHB ICU/ CCU redevelopment project.
Jordan believes in a service-based approach to design, which not only meets the clients' needs and supports intuitive end-user occupation, but also exceeds standard practice and elevates the user experience by providing an architecturally rich and meaningful environment. When developing and documenting a design response, he ensures the project is a success at all scales: from its urban cohesion and environmental outcomes, right down to the day-to-day details and layouts that have a significant impact on staff, service user and visitor experience.
