Melissa Rogers

As Planning and Production Manager at Klein, Melissa is involved with a project's every stage, building close and trusting relationships with clients, consultants and contractors. Meticulously organised, she drives the coordination of all disciplines from the start, which helps raise and address project needs and issues early, in order to manage a project smoothly to completion.

Prior to joining Klein in 2022, Melissa worked on healthcare, airports, commercial buildings, multi-residential complexes and high-end residential homes in New Zealand and the UK, including 20 years with Christchurch firm Sheppard & Rout Architects. Before joining the team, she worked alongside Klein project architects on numerous Canterbury DHB projects, as well as the multi-award-winning Stranges and Glendenning Hill building in the Christchurch CBD red zone.

With her deep and broad experience, Melissa is equally proficient at leading a team or working individually on a project to produce a detailed set of documents.

She draws on her understanding of a wide range of construction methods and design typologies to create efficient, buildable solutions. She enjoys turning a concept into a well detailed building, and appreciates the satisfaction that healthcare users gain from intelligently planned architecture.
