Neesha Morar
Neesha is a Team Leader in Klein's interior design team, bringing interdisciplinary skills in commercial projects across interiors and architecture. She has played a key role in the design and aesthetic for numerous projects in the health and aged care sectors nationwide. Since joining Klein in 2018, she has taken a key role in the design and aesthetic for many healthcare, aged care and multi-unit residential projects, which vary in scale from boutique specialist suites to highly technical operating rooms and residential apartments. Notable projects include Auckland District Health Board's Bone Marrow Transplant Unit and the redevelopment of Burwood Hospital in Christchurch.
As client liaison for interiors and fit-out, Neesha develops and consults on design concepts, taking them through the full design and documentation process and into Revit and online specification tools. Often working within tight budgets, she looks at innovative ways to move the hospital environment from feeling overly institutional to a home-like sanctuary that promotes rest and well-being.
In addition to this patient- and whanau-centred experience, Neesha is designs spaces where staff can perform at their best too - functional and inspiring facilities that are a joy to work in.
