Nicholas Wedde

Nicholas’ strong solutions-focused approach, coupled with his diverse architecture background and exceptional site expertise, makes him an invaluable and highly sought-after member of the Klein team.

Before joining Klein in 2002, he spent a combined 12 years at specialist structural/architectural firm Potter Swan Ltd and Fletcher Construction. Over this time, Nicholas gained broad experience in construction techniques, safety issues, problem solving and design. He was also involved in some of Auckland’s foremost building projects.

For over 17 years Nicholas has been instrumental in a wide cross-section of Klein’s projects. Recent examples of major projects include Middlemore Hospital Harley Gray Clinical Services Building, Burwood Hospital Redevelopment in Christchurch, and Tiaho Mai acute adult mental health unit at Middlemore Hospital – due for completion in mid-2020.

His attention to high quality, comprehensive, documentation and effective working relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers helps ensure a ‘best for project’ outcome.
